Sushmita

"I don't pose. I exist — and the camera does its best to keep up."
Born in Mumbai, based in Lisbon, comfortable nowhere in particular — Sushmita has spent nine years turning restraint into a signature. Trained in classical dance before the camera ever found her, she brings a performer's discipline to every frame: precise, unhurried, entirely present.
Her work sits where glamour meets fine art — silk and shadow, suggestion over statement. She has appeared in independent editorials across Europe and Asia, and exhibits occasionally, when the work asks for a slower room.
